Description:
This project, part of a course focused on learning COMPAS and utilizing a robotic arm, explores the use of a UR10 robot to deposit sand onto a flat surface. The aim is to blend the precise, programmable geometries generated through Python, COMPAS FAB, and Grasshopper with multiple methods. Therefore the use of sand allows an iterate process, where a new experiment can be instantly started without costs. This setup creates an intersection between structured, controlled design and the chaotic, fluid behavior of the material application, allowing for an experimental approach to robotic manipulation and material deposition.
